Hello, and welcome!
It’s full summer here in North Carolina. Hot, sunny days often give way to evening thunderstorms that I like to watch from the safety of my screened porch. Few things please me more than the damp, sweet smell that follows a summer rain. It’s as if everything is ripe and ready for maximum enjoyment.
I’ll be taking some time off this summer to dig my toes into the sand and do a little body-surfing in the Atlantic Ocean before getting to work on a new book. My upcoming book, EXPOSURE, is now in its production stage, getting cover design and heading off to copyediting for a final once-over.
EXPOSURE is a very contemporary story of star-crossed love that’s based on a real-life event my family endured in ‘09. Although the book won’t be released until late April of next year, you can read the first chapter here.
Those of you waiting for REUNION in paperback: current plans have it slated for release next March. Of course, REUNION in hardcover and SOUVENIR in both hardcover and paperback will continue to be available in the meantime.
As always: If you want to get in touch, you can find contact information for me, my agent, and my publisher on the Etc. page. You’ll also find information for book groups, details on how to buy signed copies of my books, and some links to resources that pertain to matters raised in the stories.
Take care–
Therese
