Spring is in the air here in North Carolina, though you wouldn’t know it by looking at the thermometer. Like most of you, we’ve had a longer, colder winter than normal and can’t wait for the sun to grace us with light and warmth. But the trees are budding, the daffodils and irises and tulips are pushing up, the birds are singing, and the daylight is lasting a little longer each day, which is all good news.
Speaking of good news, I’m happy to report I’ve finished my next book. It’s called THE REMEDY, and is based on a real-life event that my family endured in ‘09. Although we’re still about a year away from publication (I know, I hate having to wait so long too), if you want a sneak peek you can read the first chapter here.
Those of you waiting for REUNION in paperback: yes, the paperback edition of a hardcover original usually comes out nine to twelve months after the hardcover release, but my publisher has decided to hold it until closer to the release of THE REMEDY. So look for it very early next year, and thank you for your patience.
Of course, REUNION in hardcover and SOUVENIR in both hardcover and paperback will continue to be available in the meantime.
As always: If you want to get in touch, you can find contact information for me, my agent, and my publisher on the Etc. page. You’ll also find information for book groups, details on how to buy signed copies of my books, and some links to resources that pertain to matters raised in the stories.
Take care–
Therese
