Winter has arrived–in some places more than others!  Many of you are seeing snow for the first time in a long while, or more snow than you’ve had in ages.  Here in Wake Forest, NC, we had only a flurry, so the trees and ground are bare, but it’s certainly cold outside!  The absence of snow makes it a little more of a challenge for my four cats to spot the squirrels and birds that visit the bird feeders in our yard (the deer are a bit easier to see), but everyone needs a challenge, right?  Mine is to finish my next novel by February, after which time I really will reorganize my closet, I promise.

The new book, currently scheduled for release in spring ‘11, is called THE REMEDY, and is based on a real-life event that my family endured in ‘09.  I’ll have a lot more to say about it when it’s done, so stay tuned.

Those of you waiting for REUNION in paperback: yes, the paperback edition of a hardcover original often comes out nine to twelve months after the hardcover release, but my publisher has decided to hold it until closer to the release of my next book.  So look for it in very early ‘11, and thank you for your patience.

Of course, REUNION in hardcover and SOUVENIR in both hardcover and paperback will continue to be available in the meantime.

As always: If you want to get in touch, contact information for me, my agent, and my publisher is on the Etc. page.  You’ll also find information for book groups, details on how to buy signed copies of my books, and some links to resources that pertain to matters raised in the stories.

Take care–

Therese
